TERMS & CONDITIONS - GENERAL
All published prices are based upon two people sharing a double or twin room. Supplements for single occupation apply at many hotels – please enquire for details. Some hotels offer Family Rooms, with reduced charges for additional occupancy – please enquire for details.
Charges for children under 14 years of age will vary, dependent upon the policies of the hotels and carriers used. Again, please enquire for details.
It is strongly recommended that passengers carry a completed and stamped Form E111 and take out Holiday Insurance, even for short Continental Tours. On excursions of more than three days duration, Holiday Insurance is compulsory. Of course, we do not insist that you purchase such insurance from ourselves, but the insurance effected must provide, as a minimum, similar levels of cover to those provided in the policy we offer – see section on Holiday Insurance for details of cover.
Any holiday will only be deemed booked upon receipt of a properly completed provider’s Booking Form accompanied by a deposit of:

Note: Balance is due for payment eight weeks before departure date. Bookings within this period will require payment in full with the Booking Form.
RENDEZVOUS HOLIDAYS complies with Travel Trade Regulations relating to security of passengers’ payments as set out in EU Directive No. 90/314/EEC, by lodging of all payments for holidays in an Independently-controlled Trust Account. For your financial security, payments for holidays should be made to RENDEZVOUS HOLIDAYS TRUST ACCOUNT, whilst Insurance Premiums should be made to RENDEZVOUS HOLIDAYS. Trust documents may be viewed upon request at our shop premises.
RENDEZVOUS HOLIDAYS UNDERTAKING
WE RESERVE YOUR HOLIDAY
When we have ascertained that space is available on the holiday of your choice, a confirmation invoice will be forwarded to you. The contract is made between us when we despatch this confirmation.
YOUR U.K. HOLIDAY PRICE
The price of your holiday is guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharges except those resulting from fuel increases or Government action. In all cases, gratuities are discretionary.
YOUR CONTINENTAL HOLIDAY
The price of your holiday is guaranteed against currency surcharges, but surcharges may arise due to the action of any related Government. Surcharges which would increase the holiday cost by less than 2% will be absorbed by the company. Increased costs which give rise to a surcharge in excess of 2% will be subject to an addition of 65% to cover administration costs and Agents’ commissions. If the overall surcharge exceeds 10% of the holiday price, you may cancel the holiday, within 21 days of advice of the surcharge and receive a full repayment of the basic holiday price (not insurance premiums or supplements for special provisions).
IF WE CHANGE YOUR HOLIDAY
In the event of minor changes (such as – changes to departure/return time by less than 12 hours, alteration to a booked seat number, changes to local departure point of less than 20 miles, different mode of transport to main joining point, changes in accommodation to a
similar or higher classification), we will endeavour to notify you in advance of departure date.
In the event of major changes (such as – changes to resort area, delayed departure/changed return time by more than 12 hours, offering accommodation of a lower category), you can decide whether to continue with the holiday as amended, accept an alternative holiday or cancel the holiday. If you elect to continue or accept an alternative from us, we will pay you compensation as set out below. If you elect to cancel your holiday, we will refund all of the money paid to us for the holiday plus compensation as set out below.
